The June-July third annual junior football camp to spot top teenaged talents is being conducted by Bajaj Allianz in association with its official partner - FC Bayern Munich, a media release said today.
The camp in Munich gives teenagers from across the world between the ages of 14-16 years the opportunity to meet and train with the top German club's coaches on its official training ground.
On their return, the five youngsters would receive training scholarships under the Youth Development Programme of Kolkata club Mohun Bagan.
In addition to this, promising players will be rewarded with cash prizes, worth a total of Rs 7.20 lakh across the selection process, which is being conducted in Mumbai for the first time this year.
They would also get a chance to attend a match at Allianz Arena football stadium and meet football stars from Bayern like Thomas Mueller, Bastian Schweinsteiger and others, the release added.
The talent hunt, to target 2,500 students across 50 top schools here, would also be held in Pune, Delhi, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kerala, Kolkata and the North East. MORE
