A day after he was appointed the Chief Minister and was invited to form the first government of the new state of Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu today met Governor E S L Narasimhan at the Raj Bhavan here this evening.

TDP sources said it was a courtesy call by Naidu to thank the Governor.

During the meeting with the Governor, Naidu also discussed details of the swearing-in ceremony, to be held on June 8 at Nagarjuna Nagar located between Vijayawada and Guntur, and the list of VVIPs expected to attend the event, the party sources said.

TDP sources were however tight-lipped as to whether only Naidu will be sworn-in or some ministers too will take the oath of office on June 8.
