Chandril Sood of Uttar Pradesh capped his fine run with a a title triumph in the men's singles event of Rs 3.5 lakh DS Max Top Spin AITA Prize money Tennis Championship which concluded at the KSLTA Stadium here today.
The second seed, Sai Samhita of Tamil Nadu took home the women's singles title.
The 22-year-old Chandril Sood, seeded fourth, played yet another another three-setter, lasting three hours to overpower the second seed and Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash of Tamil Nadu in the men's singles final at 4-6 6-2 6-4.

Mohit was aggressive in his approach with his big serve and strong forehand, but was not too consistent and often fumbled on big points at crucial stages.
The honours belonged to Mohit in the first set as he took a 3-0 lead with a break in the second game, but Chandril cut the deficit, breaking his rival in the fifth game.
Mohit, however relentlessly pushed on to wrap up the set with yet another break in the 10th game. The second set saw both players slowing down a bit and engaged in long rallies with Mohit forcing his rival to several deuces on latter's serve, but couldn't quite capitalize on it as Chandril with a twin break, coasted to a 6-2 victory.
The decider saw a fierce contest, but Mohit was clearly unlucky as he dropped serve in the third game, unsettled by a disputed line call.
Chandril simply hung on to to his lead to forge ahead at 4-2 and later kept his serve intact in the crucial 10th game and sealed the set, match and title.
"This is my best win of the season and Mohit, is such a good hitter and I am pleased with my performance," Chandril said.
