Amid intensified agitation by the opposition against him on the solar panel scam, Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today asked the opposition to first establish that his office had a role in the controversy before bringing the CMO in the ambit of the judicial probe.

The Chief Minister also accused the opposition of not cooperating with the government to decide the terms of reference for the judicial probe ordered after LDF had organised a secretariat siege with more one lakh volunteers on August 12.

"Government has nothing to hide (in the solar panel scam issue). We have written to the opposition seeking their suggestions on Terms of Reference for judicial inquiry. Now, they are saying that they are not ready for talk," Chandy told reporters here.

"Even if they are not ready to discuss the ToRs, the government will not hesitate to consider their demand (that the Chief Minister's Office) should be included in the ambit of judicial probe. But they should convincingly establish my office's role on the issue," he said asking the opposition to hold talks with the government to fix the ToR.
