With his latest MBBS track of Bengali film 'Alik Sukh' still ruling the charts, 'Chandrabindoo' frontman Anindyo Chattopadhyay today said he was okay with a peppy number on 'Love Films and Rock N Roll."

"The changing scenario of Tollywood, which rocks with new subjects, new film makers and fresh insights in addition with the content-rich films we had known already has to be reflected in different contemporary forms of art, in coffee table book and in music," the music director, lyricist, singer, editor told PTI.

Anindyo, who was talking on the sidelines of the launch of 'Love Films and Rock N Roll' by prominent media consultant Swayam Ganguly, said with hangouts like CCDs, Barrista invading the world of Generation X in Kolkata, and getting reflected in the flicks of new age directors, there was no reason we should not go for less-bulky, breezy paperbacks dealing with contemporary issues.

Anindyo, who had directed music for national award winner 'Antoheen' besides several other acclaimed Bengali flicks, said "If contemporary paperback books in English can be a great hit among the pan Indian audience, why can't the same initiative be taken in Bengali language."

"I am also toying with the idea of penning a Love, Films and Rock and Roll' number in future, the Satyanewshi actor said.

"I am also okay with the idea of compiling my write-ups in publications in a paperback. This is more direct approach," Anindyo, who edits and pens a column in a premier Bengali weekly publication, said.

Jisshu Sengupta, having earned plaudits in 'Arekti Premer Galpo' and 'Noukadubi', to name a few, said "We are having different genre movies reflecting the changing trend of Tollywood in sync with the changes in Hindi film industry. We now need to have similar exercises in the domain of literature and Swayam is the trend setter."

The book, brought out by Alchemy Publishers, is the first such paper back edition in Bengali.
