Delhi Assembly today witnessed unprecedented chaotic scenes as BJP and Congress MLAs trooped into well and broke mikes demanding Law Minister Somnath Bharti's resignation over his midnight raid against African women, forcing the Speaker to adjourn the House for the day.
The four-day assembly session, which began today, was marred by protest and unruly behaviour by both BJP and Congress legislators who were demanding Bharti's resignation. The repeated disruptions led to four times adjournment of the House by the Speaker.
The session has been called for passage of the contentious anti-corruption legislation Jan Lokpal Bill and Swaraj Bill by the Delhi Government.
