Former Australian captain Ian Chappell today lashed out at the Indian cricket team for complaining about the practice pitches at the Gabba here.
The visitors had earlier issued a team statement that said "Indian team has been asking for the fresh net practice wickets several times for last two days which not been provided and instead of that, they have asked to practice on worn out wickets which has uneven bounce".
But to Chappell, it seemed liked "whingeing" on India's part.

Chappell said a strong skipper would tell his players to get on with the task at hand.
"You don't go putting out a statement about it. When you come out with a statement like that, particularly after you've lost a few wickets in the morning, it looks like whingeing," Chappell said.
A listless India capitulated to a four-wicket defeat in the second cricket Test against Australia after an inept batting display by the top-order to give the hosts an invincible 2-0 lead in the four-match series.
Meanwhile, Chappell also expressed his opinion about Steve Smith, saying the stand-in skipper should be permanently handed over the Australian team captaincy in both Tests as well ODIs.
