Charge sheet filed against two for forging documents

The Jammu and Kashmir crime branch today filed a charge sheet against two persons for allegedly preparing and selling forged documents for vehicles in Rajouri.

"The two accused, identified as Rajinder Singh and Surinder Pal Singh, were preparing and selling forged documents for vehicles like route permit, registration certificates, fitness certificate and fake receipts," a spokesman of the crime branch said.

He said that during investigations of a complaint received by the crime branch, it was found that the two accused were involved in "hatching a criminal conspiracy and preparing fake documents".

The accused were forging documents of vehicles and selling them to people, the spokesman said, adding a case has been registered against them before a court in Jammu.
