Charges framed against two-ex ministers in CBI court

The charges were framed against former ministers Enos Ekka and Harinarain Rai, now in judicial custody, in the court of N N Singh.

The three accused against whom charges were framed were Gidion Ekka, Roshan Minz and Deepak Lakra.

While Rai is facing charges of accumulating disproportionate wealth of Rs 1.46 crore, Ekka and three of his alleged associates are booked by the CBI for allegedly mustering Rs 16.82 crore disproportionate wealth.

Rai and Ekka were in the erstwhile Madhu Koda-led UPA government between 2006 and 2008.
