Charles Correa Foundation which has designed a 'model anganwadi' in South Goa will be unveiled by state Women and Child Development Minister Dilip Parulekar on February 22.
"In what can be a milestone in the field of child education, this building will also serve as a resource hub for 24 other Anganwadis around it," Anubhuti Chandana, a fellow architect working with the Foundation, told PTI.
The building can also be used for vocational training or as a community centre when anganwadis are over for the day which happens by noon, she said.

The building, which has optimum utilisation of the natural light, is designed by team led by architect Sachin Agshikar, an alumnus of JJ College of Architecture, who has closely worked with Correa in the past.
The project is funded by JSW Foundation and has been constructed for state Women and Child Welfare department.
