Actor Charlie Cox will reportedly play the role of Daredevil in Netflix and Marvel's upcoming live-action series.
The superhero will receive his own 13-part original show on Netflix as part of a recent deal between the two companies, reported Deadline.
British actor Cox, who has appeared in HBO's 'Boardwalk Empire' as Nucky's enforcer Owen Sleater and the 2007 movie 'Stardust' opposite Claire Danes, will portray Matt Murdock.
Marvel and Netflix are yet to confirm the news.
Ben Affleck last starred as 'Daredevil' for the 2003 movie which was critically panned and grossed USD 179 million worldwide.
The Netflix-Marvel Studios series will begin filming this summer in New York and premiere next year.
