Troubled actor Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Denise Richards will reportedly head to a private mediation next week to resolve their child support issues.
The 48-year-old actor had earlier reportedly asked a judge to reduce the USD 55,000, he gives to Denise for their daughters Sam, 10, and Lola, eight, reported Radar Online.
"(He has) Formally notified Denise and her lawyers that they will be headed to private mediation next week to try and get the child support reduced," a source said.

"The mediation will be handled by a retired judge who has handled various issues for the former couple over the years since their divorce. It looks like this will go down early next week. Wednesday by the latest," the source added.
The former couple apparently fell out in December after Sheen claimed Denise deliberately took the children on a vacation over the festive holiday so they couldn't spend Christmas with him.
