After 16 months as a member of the site, the 46-year-old shut down his account and posted a final message, saying "reach for the stars everyone. Dog speed cadre. C out (sic)."
Sheen famously attracted one million followers in just 48 hours when he joined Twitter but decided to delete it as he "feels like he's not getting anything out of the social network", reported Us magazine.
He had nearly eight million followers at the time he deactivated his account.
The star attracted millions of followers to his account last year during his very public meltdown. The actor called it a "psychotic break" and claimed he possessed 'tiger blood' and had dalliances with several women, referring to them as goddesses.
Frequently taking to Twitter to rant and rave about life with his "goddesses" and other wild exploits, Sheen had said in an interview that his priorities have shifted in the time since his highly-publicized meltdown that began in 2010 and resulted in his 'Two and a Half Men' ouster.
