Charred bodies of 2 young women found in Haryana

Charred bodies of two young women were today found in a heap of burning cow-dung cakes near Dehisara village in the district.

According to police, one Ramnivas was returning from his field at around 3 pm when he noticed the fire and informed other villagers and cops.

"Soon, firemen reached the spot. While dousing the fire, the firemen noticed the two bodies. The bodies, which were badly burnt, were taken out and sent for postmortem, SHO, Kundli Police Station, Anil Kumar said, adding, DSP Pradip Kumar also reached the spot to investigate the matter.

Postmortem has ascertained that both victims were female, Kumar said, adding, it seems they were killed at some other location and their bodies were brought here.
 

Police is trying to ascertain the identity of the two victims, the SHO said, adding honour killing angle is also being probed.

A case of murder has been registered against unidentified persons.
