The charred body of a 21-year-old girl was recovered from the Bargadiha area in the Sitapur district, police said today.
According to a complaint lodged by the girl's family members, the victim was burnt to death after an inflammable substance was thrown at her by a person, identified as Lallan, yesterday, they said.
A case has been lodged in this connection while efforts are on to nab the absconding accused, police added.
