Chavan assures action against guilty in BRIMSTOWAD plan delay

Replying to a debate on the issue in the legislative assembly, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said he would convene a meeting of all concerned after the end of the ongoing monsoon session of the legislature to discuss the cost escalation of the project.

"Responsibility would be fixed and appropriate action would be taken," he said, responding to queries from Pravin Darekar (MNS), Prakash Mehta (BJP) and Aslam Sheikh (Congress) who complained that poor quality of work by contractors was delaying the project.
