Chawrasia finishes tied-50th in Germany

Three bogeys in the last seven holes saw SSP Chawrasia finish even par and at tied-50th at the BMW International Open golf tournament here today.

Chawrasia, who had 70-72 in the first two rounds, carded 73-73 for the final two rounds.

Henrik Stenson was leading at 15-under with nine more holes to play, while Darren Fichardt and Raphael Jacquelin were at 13-under with nine and seven holes to play.

Sergio Garcia and Thorbjorn Olesen were at 12-under, while Kiradech Aphinbarnrat was at 10-under with around half of the final round still to be played.

The second-round leaders had to play 36 holes today after just four hours and nine minutes of play was possible on day three at Golf Club Gut Laerchenhof.
 

Play recommenced at 7.30am this morning with the final group from the round three draw going out at 8.42am.
