Cheating case against sub-inspector

A case of cheating has been registered against a police sub-inspector earlier posted at Magorra police station following a court order.

Bhima Singh, a resident of Nagla Devia under Magorra police station has accused Sub Inspector Rakesh Singh of duping him of Rs 6 lakh.

"I had paid Rs 6 lakh to sub-inspector Rakesh Singh as he said he would get my wife a good job. However, neither he could arrange for a job nor did he return the money."

"When my FIR was also not registered then I took the help of the court at whose order a police report was registered," said an FIR by Bhima.
 

The sub-inspector is currently posted in Naujheel police station of Mathura.

"The case is being investigated," police said.
