Metropolitan Magistrate Ruchika Singla asked police to lodge an FIR on the complaint by one of the promoters, Shashi Bala Khurana, of West Delhi-based Shanti Gyan International School against her two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a nephew, who is also the school principal, besides one another, the school accountant.

The court asked the police to conduct a probe into the complainant's allegations and submit it a report by June 4.

"The SHO, Dwarka South police station is directed to register the FIR on the present compliant under appropriate provision of law," the court said.

60-year-old Shashi Bala in her complaint had alleged that she had entered into a partnership with her two sisters-in-law and their husbands and one of her nephews on April 4, 2002 to run the boarding school.

She added that her nephew, who was also made the school principal, however, slowly assumed dominant position and began taking decisions on school affairs without consulting her and her son. (MORE) PTI PPS HMP
