Nestled in the narrow bylanes of Old Delhi, Khari Baoli, said to be Asia's largest spice market, will tomorrow play host to several chefs of Heads of State from across the world, who have gathered in the capital city for a conference.
18 chefs of Heads of State today came together for the Annual General Assembly of 'Le Club des Chefs des Chefs' (CCC), touted to be world's most exclusive gastronomic society, which aims to use food as a bridge between cultures and societies.
The delegation of chefs are scheduled to visit Khari Baoli tomorrow afternoon during which they will also be given a tour of the bustling market, besides being told its history, Delhi Pradesh Trade Association said in a statement.

The centuries-old market, came up around the Fatehpuri Masjid, which was built in 1650 by Fatehpuri Begum, one of the wives of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
The famed wholesale market sells all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs and food products like rice and tea, and is favourite place among tourists and backpackers on heritage trail, literally for its sights and smells.
Bragard and other chefs of the club visited the Rashtrapati Bhawan kitchen yesterday, where they relished popular Indian street foods like gol gappas and aloo tikkis, cooked up by Montu Saini, Executive Chef to the Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee. They also tried their hands at making jalebis.
The visiting members including Cristeta Comerford, Chef to the President of the US, Indo-Canadian Neil Dhawan, who is Chef to the Prime Minister of Canada and Mark Flanagan, Chef to the Queen of the UK, among others, were received by President Mukherjee for high tea.
They will also meet the Prime Minister tomorrow.
Referring to the club as the "G20 summit of chefs", Bragard said the association seeks to promote the local cuisines of different nations while keeping the plate healthy.
