Chelsea Handler will launch a new talk show on Netflix in 2016 as part of a new deal with the on-demand streaming service.

The new multi-tiered deal will see Handler star in a stand-up special later this year, as well as creating four docu-comedy specials to air in 2015, reported E! online.

Her new talk show will debut a year later, and will be made available simultaneously in all Netflix territories.

Handler's new deal comes after the recent announcement that her latest talk show is to end later this summer, after seven years on air.

Her stand-up special, Uganda Be Kidding Me Live, will be filmed in Chicago and will be available on Netflix on October 10.

Meanwhile, her docu-comedy specials will focus on her efforts to gain a better understanding on a variety of subjects, including NASCAR, politics and the NBA draft.
