The world's chemical weapons watchdog said today it has opened an "ongoing investigation" into the suspected chemical attack in Syria in which at least 86 people were killed.
The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons said it has "initiated contact with the Syrian authorities" and is requesting the sharing of information "regarding the allegations of chemical weapons use in the Khan Sheikhun" area as part of a fact-finding mission which will draw up a report on Tuesday's incident.
