: Chemicals, carbon powder and 100 high volume crackers have been seized from a man at Mecheri in the district, police said.
The man, who was arrested last night, had been illegally manufacturing crackers for temple festivals without requisite licence, they said.
He was produced before a judicial magistrate court here today and remanded to 15 days judicial custody, police said.
