Cheryl Boone Isaacs has been re-elected as the president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences by its Board of Governors.
Boone Isaacs is beginning her fourth term as president and her 24th year as a governor representing the Public Relations Branch.
Her re-elections comes amid the lack of diversity uproar that saw Academy invite 683 new members to its ranks.
