The 29-year-old singer was returning with singer Will.I.Am from a studio session in Los Angeles, when their car hit a parked car, The Daily Mirror reported.
"They were both incredibly shaken up by the incident. Cheryl felt dazed for quite a while afterwards. But despite people urging her to rest and relax, she insisted on getting on her plane and getting back into the swing of things," a source said.
The singer is hoping to concentrate more on work in order to leave the bad experience behind.
"She's a workaholic and in this respect, it's a good thing as it will take her mind off what happened," the source added.
