The 29-year-old 'Call my Name' hitmaker said that she hired him for her tour because she fancied him, reported the Huffington Post.
"I actually met him two years ago. It was me, it was all me. I had to do a little bit of the chasing. I cast a spell. Handsome, isn't he?" she said.
Cole divorced her soccer player husband Ashley in 2010 following revelations that he had cheated on her with a string of women.
The singer is also set to reunite with her band mates later this month as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations.
