The Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited today suspended Chhattarpur district's marketing officer on charges of negligence in official duty.
Marketing officer Subhash Chandra Gupta remained absent in an unauthorised manner since January following which Markfed managing director Santosh Mishra issued his suspension order so that preparations for purchasing gram crop on MSP won't get affected, official sources said.
During the suspension period, Gupta will be attached to divisional office, Sagar, sources added.
