Chhattisgarh: four killed as van runs into parked truck

Four people were killed as a pick-up van in which they were travelling rammed into a stationery truck in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon district, police said today.

The mishap occurred at Sakha turn under Chhuikhadan police station limits when the victims were returning to Chhuikhadan from Kawardha late last night.

They were identified as Subham Bohra (17), Kishan Satnami (29), Durga Satnami (46) and the driver Kamlesh Lodhi (28).

The driver apparently failed to see the truck parked on the road and crashed into it's rear, police said.

Impact of the collision was so severe that all the four including the driver died on the spot. Further probe was on.
