The Chhattisgarh government is all set to celebrate 'International Yoga Day' tomorrow across 27 districts of the state.
Preparations have been completed with a view to make thethe fourth edition of International Yoga Day a grand success, an official here said today.
Lakhs of people are expected to take part in yoga exerciseswhich will beheld simultaneously from 7 am to 8 am in all district headquarters, development block headquarters, and gram panchayats, he said.
Chief Minister Raman Singh, Union Minister of State for Power and New Renewable Energy (Independent Charge) R K Singh, Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal and MP Ramesh Bais will participate in the main event to be held at Balbeer Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur.
State cabinet ministers, parliamentary secretaries and other public representatives will take part in yoga event at different places of the state, he said.

The General Administration Department has issued a circular to this effect to all the district collectors instructing them to consult all the concerned persons and conduct International Yoga Day.
Notably, the state government had set up a Yoga Commission forspreading awareness regardingYogaright from the Gram Panchayat level todistrict level and in schools across the state.
In the Maoist-affected areas of Bastar division, the police andparamilitary forces will also take part in Yoga along with localpeople, the official said.
