Chhattisgarh High Court has suspended additional chief judicial magistrate, Raipur, AK Chaturvedi for his "grave misconduct".
"Whereas a departmental enquiry is contemplated against Ashwani Kumar Chaturvedi, III Civil Judge Class I and ACJM Raipur for his grave misconduct. And whereas serious nature ofactof misconduct warrantshis (Chaturvedi's) suspension from service...
"Therefore, in exercise of the power conferred on the HC as Disciplinary Authority under sub-rule (1) of Rule 9 of Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966, the high court hereby places Ashwani Kumar Chaturvedi, ACJM Raipur, under suspension with immediate effect in contemplation of the departmental enquiry," the order copy stated.

The order in this connection was issued by the HC registrar (I&E) Rajani Dubey yesterday.
Chaturvedi's headquarter shall be at Raipur during the period of suspension oruntilthe further orders.
