One Special Task Force (STF) jawan and a tribal woman were today injured in an IED blast, triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur district, police said.
The incident took place when a joint team of security forces was carrying out patrolling to ensure security to the weekly market in Orchha village, Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh told PTI.
The patrolling party comprised personnel belonging to STF, Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) and district force.

When the team was cordoning off a dirt track in the village, around 400 kms from here, Naxals detonated the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) that left a constable and a woman, who was passing through the place, injured, he said.
While the STF jawan Kailash Netam, sustained minor splinters injuries in his hands, the woman Muser Bai (35) got injuries on her back and hands, the SP said.
The injured were admitted to the local primary health centre, he said, adding a search operation was underway in the region.
