Chief Justices visit Rajghat

The judges are here to attend the International Conference of Chief Justices organised by City Montessori School.

Jagdish Gandhi, Convener of the Conference and Founder Manager of the City Montessori School, said Chief Justices from 61 countries have arrived to participate in the conference being organized on Article 51 of the Constitution of India.

"Article 51 of the Constitution entails that the State shall endeavour to promote international peace and security, maintain just and honourable relations between nations, foster respect for international law and and encourage settlement of international disputes by arbitration." Gandhi said.

The Chief Justice of Uganda, Mr. Justice B.J. Odoki said that "children are the future of the world and their cause is dearest to our hearts".

 

Lauding CMS for organizing the conference, Justice Carl Ashok Singh, Chancellor of the Judiciary, Guyana, said care has been shown for the most vulnerable and innocent section of the society.
