Four persons, including a couple and a child, were killed and as many others injured today in a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a lorry here today, police said.
Nine persons, including the driver, were travelling in the auto-rickshaw when the accident occurred this evening, they said.
Three of the deceased - the couple and a three-year-old girl, daughter of their relative, were travelling in the auto-rickshaw, police said, adding that the identity of the fourth one was not immediately known.
Four others were injured and had been hospitalised.
The condition of two children was stated to be serious.
