A four-year-old girl was
allegedly raped by a youth in Sagar Raipur village, triggering protests by villagers who set afire the house of the accused.
The incident took place yesterday when the girl was playing outside her house and a youth Neelesh Yadav (22) took her to a field and allegedly raped here, police said today.
Hearing the screams of the girl, the family members reached the spot
However, Yadav managed to flee from the spot.
Later, villagers set afire his house and a bike parked inside it to protest the incident.
Police rushed to the spot and controlled the situation.
