In a unique initiative to bring smiles on the face of the have-nots, the Smile Foundation introduced 10 kids to a cake-mixing ceremony to ring in the Christmas.

A Smile Foundation spokesperson said, the ten children were all from the underprivileged background hailing from downtown areas of the city.

"I love savour the Christmas cake and look forward to my father bringing in the same on the 24th December night. But this time I will spring a surprise. The didis of the confectionery promised help," 10-year old Srabonty said.

'Na Hanyate' lead Sayani Dutta, an upcoming actor in Tollywood, said the impish smiles on the children while mixing the chopped raisins, almonds, blackcurrants, cashews, dates, tuti-fruity, cherries with flavoring spices and assorted spirits at the swanky mall court was her most cherishable Yuletide experience.

The Smile Foundation, a non-profit international NGO, organised the initiative with Global Kitchens outlet.
