Two children were
seriously injured when a bomb went off at Kultoli Kirtankhali in South 24 Parganas district today.
The police said the incident took place when both the children, aged around 10 years, mistook the bomb to be ball and started playing with it.
They were taken to Jamtala block hospital and later referred to National Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, they said.
Investigation was on, police said.
