A five-day children's film festival was inaugurated here today under which a number of educational and entertainment movies for the youngsters would be screened at various cinema halls.
Organised in association with Children's Film Society of India, the festival was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Kamal Kishore Yadav.
As many as 11 children's movies would be screened at various cinema halls here from October 5-8 and 12th, the DC said, adding school teachers have been asked to take the students for movie screenings.
Other than Jalandhar, children's movies would also be screened at Goraya town in this district.
