At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, chilli teja for delivery in July month spurted by Rs 312 or 3.60 per cent to Rs 8,960 per quintal with an open interest of 80 lots.

Similarly, the spice for delivery in June contracts moved up by Rs 124 or 1.45 per cent to Rs 8,698 per quintal in 1,700 lots.
