Chilly weather prevails in Delhi

Delhi residents experienced a nip in the air as temperatures dipped by a few notches in the national capital today.

The minimum temperature dipped to 9.8 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal, as against yesterday's 11.7 degree Celsius, a MeT department official said.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal for this time of the year.

Humidity level oscillated between 88 and 34 per cent.

"The sky will remain mainly clear tomorrow. There will be mist and shallow fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover between 27 degrees and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively," the official said.
