Two chimpanzees, brought here from Israel last year, escaped from an enclosure at the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park this morning.
After a dramatic chase which lasted for 45 minutes, they were recaptured.
Assistant Curator of the zoo, SS Ali Mashaddy, said the chimps managed to climb the wall of the enclosure using a water pipe.
