The assurance was given during Sri Lankan Army Chief Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya's visit to Beijing.
"Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya has held bilateral talks with Chinese officials", military spokesman Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasuriya said.
"The Chinese authorities have assured their full continued assistance to Sri Lanka", Wanigasuriya added.
Sri Lanka Army had received co-operation from China in the victorious military campaign against the LTTE.
The three year campaign ended the LTTE's three decades old separatist campaign in north and eastern parts of the island.
