China declines to comment on 'spy' arrest in Dharamsala

China today declined to comment on the arrest of an alleged Chinese spy in Dharmasala, saying that it has no information on it.

Asked about reports of detention of Tibetan origin man, who reportedly worked for People's Liberation Army, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei told media here today that he was not aware of the report.

Police in Dharamshala claimed to have arrested a 33-year-old man of Tibetan origin from Mcleodganj on the suspicion of being a Chinese spy.

Pema Tsering was arrested Thursday evening on the complaint of security agencies in Dharamsala.
