Over 30 passengers had a lucky escape when a Chinese airliner made a successful landing after a faulty instrument forced it to delay its descent by over two and half hours.
Flight BK2870, operated by Okay Airways Company Ltd, landed successfully at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport at 8:24 p.M. More than two and half hours later than the scheduled time, a spokesman with the airline was quoted as saying by the state-run Xinhua news agency.
No casualties were reported.

The landing came as a relief for many Chinese who followed online updates on the incident.
Okay Airways began operating in 2005 as the first private airline in China. The company boasts 23 airplanes.
The malfunctioning plane, a Modern Ark (MA)-60 model made by China's Xi'an Aircraft Industry Company, is one of 11 MA-60 aircraft owned by Okay.
