The three people received emergency treatment immediately after being found, and they are not in life-threatening conditions despite being trapped by an avalanche in the canyon since April 30, rescuers said.

Sun Huitao and Wei Feng, a pair of tourists from central China's Henan Province, entered the canyon on April 19 with five local residents of Mainling County without permission of the local government.

Two people were killed and two others injured when an avalanche hit the area on April 30.
