Panda lovers across the world will be able to enjoy live 24-hour HD Internet broadcasts of daily activities of the cuddly animals at China's premier panda breeding facility from next month.

The 'Giant panda channel' will begin round-the-clock broadcasts of giant pandas living in southwest China's Sichuan Province, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding said.

Twenty-eight high definition video cameras have been installed in the base to record the daily activities of more than 80 giant pandas living there, state-run Xinhua news agency reported today.

Visitors to the 'Giant panda channel' or ipanda.Com will be able to choose from six categories, including "garden for adult pandas," "kindergarten," "nursery for twins," "mother and child playground," "No.1 Villa" and "Featured," according to their own preference 24 hours a day.

The website started posting video clips on June 24 as a test and has since attracted nearly 15,000 Internet users to visit and leave comments.

"I couldn't help but watch Panda Gun Gun for two whole days," wrote a netizen with the screen name "Fufu3."

Many Internet users expressed their wish to see giant pandas in person after watching the clips.
