With an array of ensemble and solo performances, the second edition of Indo-China music concert "Silk Road" mesmerised the audience, here last evening.
Held at the the iconic Royal Opera House, it was organised by Musician's Federation of India (MFI) and supported by Mumbai-based Consulate General of the People's Republic of China.
Several popular and talented musicians like Cao Yanli, Chen Feng, Luo Zhangcheng, Chen Yuqi, Xie Dongxiao, Chen Yifei, Zheng Ce performed at the concert.

Chinese Vocalist Ma Qiijun sang the old Bollywood classic "Ab Raat Guzarne waali hai", originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar.
Sumit Mullick, additional chief secretary and chief protocol officer, government of Maharashtra was the guest of honour.
"It is very appropriate that it's called 'China Silk Route' music concert as it brings back the memories of the old silk route, in which countries of South Asia, central Asia, middle east and parts of Africa, they all met together around his route.
"It wasn't just about silk, or other merchandise, it was about ideas. Ideas also travelled across and had a fusion of cultures," Mullick said.
Apart from the performances, singers like Anup Jalota, Mahalakshmi Iyer among others were recognised for their contribution in the field of music and culture.
Other guests of honour included Zheng Xiyuan, Consul General of China in Mumbai, Anup Jalota and Xiong Wei, Deputy Secretary General Chinese musicians association.
