China to inject vigour to strategic partnership with India

Wang Gang, a member of the politburo of the CPC Central Committee, vowed to enhance communication and cooperation between the two parties, and inject vigour to the two countries' relations when a delegation led by Sharad Yadav, president of JD(U) met him.

Wang hailed the good momentum in the development of the two countries' relationship and highlighted the blossoming of the two sides' strategic cooperative partnership, the establishment of important mechanisms of dialogue, results in exchanges and cooperation in various fields and joint work in safeguarding the interests of developing countries on major international issues, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.

 

Wang, who is also vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, said the visit by Yadav marks the official establishment of ties between the two parties.

Yadav said JD(U) will increase contact with the CPC and make greater efforts in promoting India-China relations.
