As many as 22 memorandum of understandings were signed between Chinese firms and Gujarat during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Anandiben Patel's visit to China.
Soon, a delegation from that country would visit the state to explore business and investments opportunities here, Gujarat Industries Commissioner Mamta Verma said here today.
"As many as 22 MoUs between Gujarat and various Chinese firms were signed during the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel's China visit," Mamta Verma said.

"Chinese firms have shown interest to invest in Gujarat's petro-chemicals and reneweble energy sectors," she said, adding that due to Chinese investments in the state, its overall progress would increase further.
Director of Indo-China Development Pvt Ltd Shankar Patel said the Gujarat Chief Minister had taken concrete steps to foster ties with China and keep the Indian delegation busy throughout the visit.
"As many as 26 industrialists from Gujarat went to China with the Chief Minister and all of them were seen busy meeting various Chinese firms," Patel said.
