A Chinese man was arrested in south China for threatening to blow up a luxury car in his post on a social networking site, police said today.

The post on Chinese microblogging site Tencent Weibo was traced to an Internet cafe and a man surnamed Jiang was arrested by the police in Liuzhou city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Tuesday.

Jiang has been in police custody for five days.

He said he did not know the car owner, a local businessman, and had no plan to commit the crime.

Jiang told police that he wrote such a post because the Bentley car owner drove too "aggressively".
