A Chinese national today died in an accident at a project linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in the Abbottabad garrison city, a media report said today.
The 35-year-old worker, identified as Fung, died after he fell into an excavated opening and severely injured himself upon falling on iron bars that had been fixed in the trench at the site of the motorway project, Dawn online reported.
The Chinese national was rushed to Abbottabad district headquarters hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The body will be sent to China soon.
